d) ACTIONS TO BE TAKEN: 3.3.E

E-: the resources needs to be 2 things: a multi- and inter-disciplinary database of all the 17th century French who's who (from writers to doctors to architects to philosophers to salonnières to courtesans to princes... well, everyone who counted), with links to other sources and links among themselves. It would take too long and too much effort to create our own dictionary, and really, all info is available already, no need to do a repeat. On the other hand, there is no place to go online to have a list of all these people. If we create the list, and link it to wikipedia and other online sites (i.e. Free download of books, secondary sources, webpages as Duchene's, biographies, dedicated societies, the Cahiers's articles, etc...), then it would be a very useful tool for everyone to use. Technically, we should organize it by subject area and just add the names in their categories (some people would be into more than one categories, which will be linked together.

The second part of the resources should be a database on teaching material as syllabi, images, movies, etc... and for this we would need the involvement of the membership to send us their info, which is always more difficult.

PLEASE LIST HERE THE CATEGORIES YOU WOULD LIKE TO SEE IN THE RESOURCES:
