3) We don't have content that a search engine can find (big problem), because we don't generate information:
- Right now, the name of our website is SE17.bowdoin.edu. It is great to be hosted by a university because it adds points for the search engines, so we should find a way to still be hosted by one, and Bowdoin is willing to continue hosting our website. Simplifying or generalizing the name would be good, but it is not primordial. Many people who still work with specific websites bookmark them. Katherine suggests that we might buy our own domain and redirect it to Bowdoin, with names like: earlymodernfrance.org, earlymodernfrenchstudies.org, etc...
