e) STAFFING

The web editor's job is to organize the work, to recruit (with your help) the teams, to make sure everything runs, to prepare the templates for the diverse categories (with the help of the web-designer and consultant), to consult with the execom, to present the work at the conference, and to oversee all categories and contributors.

The Secretary and the Executive Director are the only ones making changes to the Governance & Join/Renew pages, Membership Database, and Fee Manager.

Below: when I say 'permanent' what I mean is that the job is permanent, not necessary the people. When I say short term: I mean that after the job is done, the position can be closed.

Here is how I foresee the teams to make this possible:

A-: Cahiers: web-designer (permanent), Rose as head (permanent) & 1 team member (very thorough person, short term ; the duration of the index making, 6-9 months, unless Rose thinks otherwise)

B-: Repertoire: web-designer (permanent), bibliographer (permanent), & 1 team member (someone very involved in the society, and who comes regularly to the meetings. Permanent)

C-: Sand-Box: web-designer (permanent), website editor (permanent), & 2 team members (very dynamic and creative persons, involved in interdisciplinary studies. Permanent)

D-: Newsletter: web-designer (permanent), website editor (permanent), 2 head editors (very very organized and diligent persons: one for literature, one for other disciplines) and 5 team members each (permanent: 5 to start the first year, then 3 each should be enough).

E-: Resources: Who's who part: web-designer (permanent), website editor (permanent, making sure links work and are updated), 3 team members (thorough and organized persons, very knowledgeable, ideally, 1 or 2 senior faculties with a little time on their hands. Short term, 9 to 12 months) / teaching resources part: web-designer (permanent), website editor (permanent, overseeing the database), the bibliographer (permanent, to go seek information and motivate the membership), one team member (maybe a member at large ? to help the bibliographer)

F-: linking to wikipedia: web-designer, 3 team members (dedicated persons, short term, in the future)

G-: inviting sister societies: web-designer, bibliographer or P.R person (permanent, in the future)

H-: Conference past and present: web-designer (permanent, coding, create search database index by name and subject), current president (short term, for this year's conference, all they usually do), past president (short term, making sure all info about his conference are on the website) and Bibliographer (permanent overseeing, short-term, taking care of past conferences and list names and subjects for the web-designer to create index and code)
