Please note that only name, institutional affiliation, and research and teaching interests will be publicly accessible. All other information you provide, including address, phone and e-mail, will be accessible only to other SE17 members.

You may also renew your membership on the Membership Payment Options page. Please also take a moment to update your personal and professional information in the Membership Database. Members are encouraged to contact the SE17 Bibliographer, Charlotte Trinquet, for assistance in publicizing their scholarly accomplishments.

Membership runs the course of the calendar year and is required for participation in the annual SE17 conference. Membership dues are $25 annually for a full-time teacher-scholar and $15 annually for a part-time teacher-scholar, independent scholar, graduate student, or retired member.

For New Members

Your access to the Cahiers du dix-septième cannot not be enabled until SE17 receives your membership payment for the year. Upon receipt of payment, you will be sent an e-mail confirming account activation. Payments made through PayPal or by check are processed and accounts activated on a weekly basis. An email message containing your username and password has been sent to the address that you provided. Once your account is activated, that username and password will provide you full access to the SE17 site and the Cahiers du dix-septième.

For New Members

Your membership will be activated when SE17 receives your dues payment for the year. Please note that payments made through PayPal or by check are processed and accounts activated on a weekly basis. Upon processing of payment, you will be sent an e-mail confirming account activation. An email message containing your username and password has already been sent to the address that you provided. Once your account is activated, that username and password will provide you full access to the SE17 site.

For Renewing Members

If you are renewing and do not remember when you last paid, use the "my dues" option on the left menu to verify the status of your account. Members wishing to pay past dues may indicate the desired number of years for which they wish to pay in the "Quantity" box on the PayPal site or include the additional amount in their check. Past dues payments will be acknowledged in your receipt.

Please note that payments made through PayPal or by check are processed and dues records updated on a weekly basis. While PayPal will send a receipt immediately upon payment, please allow one week for your dues status to be updated on the web site. Members paying by check or international money order will receive email confirmation from SE17 when their dues payment has been processed.

SE17 has tax exempt status under section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code. All contributions to SE17 are tax deductible according to section 170 of the Code.
