Two Visiting Assistant Professor of French positions at Providence College (RI)

The Department of Foreign Language Studies at Providence College invites applications for two visiting assistant professor positions in French to cover for sabbatical leaves. One position is for the full academic year 2018-19 beginning in August 2018 and the other is for the spring semester of academic year 2018-19 commencing in January 2019.

Essential Responsibilities: The teaching load for visiting faculty is four courses (12 credits) per semester.

Applications are invited for the Powys Roberts Research Fellowship in European Literature at St Hugh’s College, Oxford, tenable from 1st October 2018. We seek a generalist with experience teaching beginner- and intermediate-level French language courses. Teaching load is 3/3 per academic year, including Composition and Grammar. The Society for French Studies is delighted to announce the third round of its Visiting International Fellowship scheme. The SFS International Visiting Fellowship scheme enables outstanding academics in French Studies at all career stages, based in overseas universities, to spend time at UK or Irish higher education institutions. The deadline for applications to this year’s Visiting International Fellowship Award is 1 April 2016, for activity taking place during AY 2016/17.
