What: virtual exhibitions in French and English on a variety of topics that touch on the 17th century in context, including the Globes of the Sun King, nautical maps, a history of games, and fairy tales.

These may be useful to provide brief historical overviews on given subjects for undergraduate courses.

Décès de l'architecte Libéral Bruand. Libéral Bruand (1631-1697) fut à la fois architecte, ingénieur du roi et l'un des premiers membres de l'Académie royale d'architecture. Son grand œuvre est l'Hôtel royal des Invalides qu'il bâtit de 1671 à 1676.
