University of North Carolina Wilmington, tenure-track, French Media / Cultural Studies

The Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures at the University of North Carolina Wilmington invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track position in French Media and/or Cultural Studies beginning August 2015.

The teaching load is 3/3 and includes language, literature, and culture courses at all levels of the undergraduate curriculum in a dynamic and growing French Section. Applicants must have an active research agenda, successful college-level teaching experience, and a strong interest in curricular development. An interest in participating in Applied Learning initiatives is crucial and contributions to university service are expected. The position requires native or near-native proficiency in French and English. A Ph.D. in French or an equivalent foreign degree must be in hand by August 2015.
