Lecturer (below the bar) in French - In Medieval and/or Early Modern Studies (Assistant Professor)
Applications are invited for one permanent appointment as Lecturer (below the bar) in French – In Medieval and/or Early Modern Studies, UCD School of Languages, Cultures and Linguistics. Applicants must have a PhD in French, an active research track record and a commitment to developing new research programmes within the School and the College of Arts and Humanities.

The School of Languages, Cultures and Linguistics is a research active unit with research interests in the fields of literature, civilisation, history, politics and society of its target cultures represented by the languages taught in the School. Interdisciplinary and multinational research and teaching activities are welcome both on the undergraduate level and the School’s varied MA programmes. Note: It is envisaged the appointed Lecturer will commence in post on 1 September 2016.
Lecturer (below the bar) Scale: €31,820 – €56,602 p.a.
Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines.
