The Department of Foreign Language Studies at Providence College invites applications for two visiting assistant professor positions in French to cover for sabbatical leaves. One position is for the full academic year 2018-19 beginning in August 2018 and the other is for the spring semester of academic year 2018-19 commencing in January 2019.
Essential Responsibilities: The teaching load for visiting faculty is four courses (12 credits) per semester.
Education and Experience Required: Requirements include a Ph.D. in French from an accredited institution, native/near native proficiency, demonstrated excellence in and enthusiasm for teaching French at all levels, and sincere interest in mentoring/ advising undergraduates.
